Semi-crumbly aluminum oxide, produced by high-quality bauxite as raw material, melted at the high temperature of more than 2100 ℃ in the electric furnace, and using a special broken treatment technique. Since its hardness and toughness lie between white molten aluminum oxide and brown molten aluminum oxide, it is called semi-friable cast aluminum oxide.
It is characterized by reasonable hardness, excellent self-sharpening, high temperature resistance, corrosion and erosion resistance, low apparent porosity and stable thermal stability.
Can be used to make vitrified / ceramic abrasive tools, resin abrasive tools, and coated abrasives.
For rough grinding, semi-friable aluminum oxide can improve process efficiency and obtain precise grinding, and can improve surface quality of workpieces.
Bonded abrasives made from semi-crumbling aluminum oxide are characterized by high durability, excellent self-sharpening performance and holding capacity. It can be used to process ordinary steel, bearing steel, all kinds of stainless steel, tool steel, special alloy steel with low Cr / W / Mo / V / Co content, some cast iron and all kinds of non-metals ferrous.
Coated abrasives made with semi-friable aluminum oxide have excellent sanding quality, long life and increased sanding amount. It is mainly used for thermo sensitive metals and alloys, soft non-ferrous metals, etc. It can also be used to sand wood, plastic coating, paint. Especially for hard wood, the effect is much better.
