Aluminum oxide zirconia oxide (ZA40)

  • Zirconium oxide molten aluminum is an electrically condensed alumina-zirconia grain, produced by melting alumina and zirconia raw material in electric arc furnaces, and then by quenching, crushing, and sieving.
  • ZA40 has a small crystal size and a unique microstructure, which gives it high toughness and hardness, good cutting capacity and a longer service life. Therefore, its quality is far superior to brown fused alumina, silicon carbide and other traditional abrasive materials.
